Was it Lukey Muffler or someone else? I realise the early cars would've had imported exhausts but they were Australian manufactured at some point as some have an Australian part number. |

My 62 850 has it's original muffler, but there is no makers mark. It is made of really thick steel compared with new offerings! |

Lukey rings a bell, I seem to remember my Dad telling of a time when there was a strike or problem at the exhaust supplier and they had cars parked everywhere round the factory grounds with no exhausts. |

I was thinking Lukey aswell but I wouldn't be surprised if BMC only sourced the muffler from them and bent the pipes in house ![]() |
