Notice that Aldi supermarkets are selling engines stands for about $80. Are they worth it? Would these hold a 1098? |

This was a special about 3-4 months ago. They sold poorly at the Aldi i work at so were sent elsewhere. Im assuming the stands you see at your Aldi are some leftovers. Is it this model?: http://www.aldi.com.au/au/html/offers/2827_16320.htm Not sure about this or not but I dont think you can put an A series on it. Its made for North-South engines with the gearbox mounted on the back. |

The stand looks OK but you would need to have a mini engine mounting plate made up like I did for my Repco engine stand. |
