Hey just got some wheel bearings with a big shipment from the uk ! One of the seals has a nylon dust seal that sits on top of the hub seal ! Has anyone else had this set up ! They went on the hubs I have and never seen a set up like it before |

For a road going car IMO they are of little value but for off roading (particularly creek crossings) they are very good. |

I decided to use it when I recently did a wheel bearing. The old one never had one but I figured having it there probably wouldn't reduce the life of the bearing. |

Australian Minis didn't get them, they are used on UK cars to keep road slush, salt etc out of the hubs. But if ya got em, no harm to use em. Watch you fit them with the correct seal, they seat against it. |
