I took some photos today of my car before it is a wedding car on the weekend. Thought I'd get a bit of feedback on simple things I can do to make it look better seeing as everyone here hasn't been looking at it all morning! TIA. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Gafmo will be in tears when he sees how shiny you've made it. Awful as it might sound, would you consider removing the Ausmini stickers? Just for the week? I reckon they pull the eye away from the classic car and the bride and groom if you have any photos with the car in the frame. The car looks excellent however.. |

Not sure if those number plates are street legal.. ![]() We used a fleet of Mini's at our wedding. We removed the passenger's seat for easy access for the bride/dress wearing folk. If it was my call, I'd run without the rear louvre too. Car looks tops mate. |

I think you have done an excellent job. As per the previous message above - remove the Ausmini stickers would be my only comment. |

But ausmini stickers are so hard to come by these days! I think I would wreck them pulling them off. I think you are right though, I never considered that.....so long ausmini stickers ![]() Cooper_Matrikon, people who know me know I have a serious grandpa car. This car has always run with a rear louvre and I can't imagine it without one sorry. |

I guess I blurred the line between 'feedback' and 'opinion'. |

Thanks Evan, didn't mean it nastily or anything but these are the kind of things that I am after. The bridesmaid's dresses are more cocktail type so not long and flowing. They could probably stuggle past the passenger seat in a pinch but I think I may take the seat out to make it slightly easier for them. |

All good. I tend to agree with the call on the Ausmini stickers too. A part of me would like them, but they look a bit out of place for mine. Just the one mini or multiple? |

There will be 1 BINI for the bridal car, and 3 classic mini's for the bridesmaids/groomsmen (so there are two more classic mini's, one black De Luxe and one shadow blue De Luxe). |

Really nice ![]() About the only thing I'd say was missing is a RH Fuel Tank for that balanced look from the rear ![]() Is your's the only Mini in the Wedding Car procession or will you be joined by others? |

Blasphemy! Thou shall not taint a De Luxe with crappy Cooper 'S' bits ![]() ![]() Cheers mate ![]() This will be 1 of 3 classic mini's, with 1 BINI thrown in as the bridal car. The 3 classic mini's are all De Luxe's (done on purpose of course!) - and not De Luxe's pretending to be Cooper 'S' either. One of which is the one I used in my thermo fan how to on this site. Apparently the brides' dress is much to puffy and large to fit in the back of an old mini so that's why the new one was brought in. |

Looks great! Missing white bonnet ribbons! ![]() Very tiny nitpick, nothing of concern for wedding: The car is missing bumper T bar handle thingies. It's got the S flares, the Delux overiders but not the T bars? or is that on purpose? Anyway other than that it's a car I'd be proud to own! |

Looks good. It needs ribbons from the bonnet latch to the top of the door jambs. I'd get them from Spotlight. As per the others, I really would prefer it with the louvre removed for that classic waving through the rear window shot. But that's just me. ![]() |

I wanted the wider wheels to be legal when it was put back on the road years ago. It used to get driven everyday with no flares and 5" wide wheels. Unfortunately it wouldn't pass a RWC like that so the decision was made to put Mk2 S flares on. I don't want to cooperise a matching numbers car - too many people have done that to De Luxe's before. The ribbons will be done on Saturday morning - already bought the ribbons for all the cars. Lots of pictures will be taken on the day - even with the resprayed door and A panel ![]() |
