I have just dismantled my steering rack and found both bearings pitted and the pinion is worn around the oil seal Rest of it looks ok I have heard that the bearings are hard to find? Is this true? Also I note that karcraft have thick steering arms, are these worth fitting? Or do I just buy a whole new rack? Heard they are crap? Fitting 13" wheels so maybe look at buying a Sportspack rack.? |

Michael yes the Mini pinion bearings are now NLA. However Jonn Smidt has stock of NOS Morris Marina ones. These are .125" smaller in outside diameter and .030" shorter. I arranged some steel cups CNC machined to adapt them into Mini racks. I have some here, if you need a couple of bearings and cups today, come see me.
