Would anyone know where I could buy a couple of rear brake flex hoses in Brissy tomorrow? Just the normal rubber ones will do. Also, what is the best way to stop fluid loss when the hoses are removed as I usually clamp the flex hoses when doing the wheel cyls, but obviously can't when they are removed.

From the brake joints you can get these little rubber plugs, they press on around the outside of the brake hose threads, or can be pushed up inside the hole the hoses came out of. They plug the fluid very well and are reusable. I always manage to keep a few stuffed away for the job.

Brake hoses from the usual mini parts supplier, they will be on the shelf.

How old is your brake fluid ?, if it has any age on it i would let it drain into a container,
and when you've replaced the hoses just keep bleeding NEW fluid through the system
until you have all the air out and you have new clean fluid coming through. It won't take you much longer to do the job by doing this this.
