Post subject: | wheels/flares combo - need help |
hey guys, need to get some new wheels for my clubby ![]() I'm thinking these 10x6 minisport ultralite's sound pretty good - http://www.minisport.com/mini-spare-par ... _Dish.html Just not sure what flares would suit these. Obviously it would have to be something quite wide. I was thinking sportspack flares - does anyone have pics of these with 10 inch wheels? Not sure if the wheel would get 'lost' in there, so to speak. Any suggestions/pictures would be most welcome... |

i can't reply definitively since i don't know the offsets of the wheel you're after, but i have 10x6 wheels and they are *just* covered by those cheap black plastic flares |

i'm quite sure they are these flars; the 1.75" one. i will measure them tonight. http://www.minisport.com.au/prod497.htm they look like this on the car; ![]() these are the 10x6 wheels i have, will have to compare 'dish' to see if it approximates the dimensions of yours ![]() the wheels stick out this much ![]() and are just covered nicely by the flares ![]() hope that helps! |

So what's the price in AUD for a full set landed with rubber. Would they fit under Barney's flares? ![]() |

interesting, the minisport site seems to reccomend the group 2 race arches for 6 inch wheels, being 3.5" wide. The group 2 rally wheels which are only 1.75" wide like yours are only reccomened for 5 inch wheels. I might just give them a go - i can always get spacers if the wheels dont fill them out enough |

The group 2 rally wheels which are only 1.75" wide like yours are only reccomened for 5 inch wheels. i would say they are recommending the 2" flares in order to cover all bases - whether the person has spaced drums, which offset wheel they are using, how anal the RTA inspector is ![]() in my case the el cheapo 1.75" flares suit perfectly (for my 6" wheels at least) but it only takes a centimetre of difference in offset/spacer/etc to ruin it i guess? |

So are these 10 x 6 deep dishes going to bolt straight onto Barney or should I expect suspension fouling? Does anyone have pics running these wheels? Evan |
