Haynes would have said "remove adjuster"

The adjusters I just bought off GT say "Lever, saw, chisel or drill off the existing adjuster"  - Something tells me it's not going to be easy :?

Every mini owner should have a thermic lance in their toolkit.

Well, after you fix the grinder  , cut the tops off them, then drill them off. Fiddely, yes, but shouldn't be hard.

I do actually have one of them. Great for piercing steel of any thickness, eg, I can put a hole through the head of rail track in less that 2 seconds. Will also cut concrete! The rods are a bit dear though.

Oh, and I wouldn't recommend it for safe cracking, what ever was inside wouldn't be much good after hitting the safe with it.

I get to use one of those (called a broco cutter over our way) from time to time. They are good fun.

I agree, everyone should own a Broco Cutter. If you cant fix something with a hammer you can always destroy it with the broco, then pretend the problem never existed.
