I am looking to get my 850 re-trimmed. Does anyone know of good trimmers in the Brisbane area. I basically need to get everything done - hood, seats, panels, dash etc.

Thanks!

Les at Red Corner in Capalaba did a good job on my clubby a couple of years ago.
He's done 2 minis now so he's almost an expert. :)

As far as I know Les is no longer there/in business. He used to advertise in our club mag but I couldn't contact him (as in disconnected phone) when time for renewal came round.

I once knew a really good trimmer in Bulimba, he did a prize winning job on my old Belair, cant remeber his name. He was a patient of my fathers, so I will ask dad if he is still around.

He was dirt cheap, but loved his trade and wouldnt compromise on quality. He worked from under his house, he once told me that he did this to keep the cost of his jobs down, no need to pay rent on the premises, these savings were passed on to his customers.

The guy was so anal that he wouldnt even take a coffee into his workshop, wasnt afraid of spilling it on his work, was more worried that the smell of the coffee could end up ruining the clients upholstory. Im pretty sure he cried when the first thing I did when I picked up the Chev was light up a durrie in it.

2 for the price of 1?? My blue 850 also needs trim. Let me know what you find and I could end up asking for same shape, different colours.

$AU dollars good at the moment. ClassiCore did two sets for me in the colours I wanted.

Have a look.

classiccore.com (I took off the .uk I don't think you use it)

Cheers
Alex.

Could also give Stuart at All Car Interiors at Windsor a call too, I've had him do some work for me in the past and found his work and prices reasonable.

Another vote here for the Lee Bros at Pedder St, Albion. Warren and Shane did the head lining, dash rails and rear parcel shelf in my Mk2 S and I couldn't be happier.
