guys and gals, i currently have the MK2 Cooper S Badge on the bonnet of Slidey, and am currently in the process of returning the original Mini Matic badges to the car.

Now my question is, there are two holes in the bonnet where the Cooper S badge fits onto the bonnet itself, what badge was on there originally, and does the original badge marry up with the holes from the Cooper S badge????????????

Yours Confusedly,

Steve

Depends how old the car is. If like mine it's a 69 or 70, should be a round Mini-K badge. If earlier, a Morris 850/Deluxe badge.
Mine has a Pommy shield badge, sez `Mini'. If it gets badged it cost me $2.95, and I have a spare..

It will be the round Mini K one, and as the doc said, they fade. However, not only do they fade, but they crack and stuff aswell!

For a 70 Matic, it should be the round one, same as a Mini K.
Maybe Anton can take a pic of Pops'....

Steve

Go to Somerford mini UK web site and look at MKII morris badge as it is the same as the mini K badge under $50 bucks to your door brand spanking.
