I've hade a 30 amp fuse blow (may have been 30 years old)on the light circut. there is only the two fused circuts so i assume that it must use aa 30 amp fuse, but i don't want to burn wire's if its to high.I've looked thru the 3 manuals i have but no info on fuse size. So in sumery. What size should it be?Thanks.

They did come with Fuses rated 30 Amp and while these are a fairly high rating, they are the correct ones to use.

The 1275 LS actually has 3 fuses. There are the ' standard' 2 in the fuse box, but there is also a 3rd In-line one almost buried in the Harness near to the fuse box. That is the one for the parkers and instrumnet illumination lamps.

I think the original fuse size was 35 amps, but I don't think you can get those anymore. Even 30 amps still seems a lot, there are a lot of wires in a Mini which will melt with a lot less than 30 amps going through them.
