 Post subject: rear beaver

Trying to fit up rear beaver to my gt it is crap(can't remember where I bought it had it for years) does anyone in Australia sell a decent one

Try Karcraft or MiniKing.
Not sure if genuine Rover/Heritage ones are still available?
I fitted one last year and was not too bad.

Sorry......highjack.... :) Who coined the term "beaver" panel and what is the front "beaver" called? Apron??

Do all the Australian minis have a Mk 1 rear end and is it different from the later uk cars?

As far as I am aware, all the beaver panels are the same (if that is what you were meaning). The rear body panel (with the window, tail light and boot opening) are different. All ours are the same as the UK MKI, except on our Clubbie ones the cut outs for the tail lights are different. The UK MKII on have a larger window.
