Nah, and that's the trouble. There is nothing left of the originals. She's a silver example, so the car looks very plain without 'em.

If you go to a signwriters with good photos or some dimensions of proper stickers, they should be able to make something and put it on in the right spot fairly cheap, compared to originals.

I know a signwriter that used to own a 1275LS and he scanned the stripes so that he could cut them with a computer. They looked good, except he stuck black stripes on a gold car!
I will try to get in touch with him and see if he can ..
1) Cut some sets for people.
2) Make copies of the template.

i had a really mad idea for the stripes today that i passed on to stuwey, whaddyou guys reckon of instead of having the decals as black, you make them orange? well im really sold on the idea and i think Lizzie will get orange stripes (if swhes ever done!!)

where did i get the idea, think (ford) fpv gt's silver with orange wstripes....i reckon it would look awesome personally, a bit different...obviously not a standard look, but im getting really tired of the standard thing after Elmo

I think it would look nice to do them in different colours. But not Orange on Silver!

Just to point something out to people who don't know. The 1275LS stripes came in two colours. The Hi Ho Silver cars had Black stripes and the Nugget Gold cars had Brown stripes.
A lot of gold cars have been redone with the wrong stripes because Leyland run out of the brown ones first!

When I had my gold LS resprayed in 1988 I went to Mini Kingdom and ordered a set of stripes. They called Leyland and they looked up the computer and said that they had two sets of brown stripes left and a heap of black ones. So I ordered the second last set of brown stripes. When they arrived I unpacked them in the store and one piece was missing. (the stripe kit had 3 pieces each side, the front guard, the door and the side panel) So they ordered the last set and that is what I stuck on my car.
Six months later the paint started falling off the car due to faulty paint! So they only lasted six months!
