Hi,

A work mate has asked me to help with dating his 850.

Numbers are:

YMA2S1
41665
8Y/U/H 1287
1/SLATE GREY/3

It is a bit dirty/inaccessible at the moment to find numbers on electrical parts.

M

From your post title, I though you were looking for someone to take your 850 out for an evening!

From the body number, it's well down the line.

What style bootlid does it have? Aussie style? Headlining 1 piece with bows?

:P

I'll have a look at the numbers on my 850 when I get home.
I bought it about 8 weeks ago from the original owner, slate grey, two peice roof lining, aussie number plate. All original. He purchased it in November 1964.

Thanks guys and Ty, I look forward to seeing yours.

My own 850 was smoke grey with number 35443. My engine prefix is 8AM/U/H. I think my car is early 64 but maybe it is a 63?

OK. My Slate Grey is an 850 with number 49,500(ish) bought new in November 1964 with docs.
When I bought it it was stripped for restoration (with rust free body). I won't be restoring it to 850 spec but will make it into a Mini that I want to own. IE 7 port head etc I have all the good gear ;)
