Post subject:  clutch thrust bearing?? don't make them anymore?
was looking at getting the timken or whatever brand it was, the high qaulity one they used to sell.

Seems all shops here don't sell them anymore. Even minispares OS don't? Am I right?

Clutch release bearing (Original flat face design) ~ Timken 3W5/8

Mine came from karcraft in 2008 (Price was $54.56)

Go to a bearing shop and ask for that. They are about 12 bucks and outlast your mini.

you have to go to a proper bearing shop for that one.

Only disadvantage with it is that it is not flat face like the original 3W5/8 - otherwise internally very much the same.

sounds like the one. it's no longer in the cattledog as I can see.

From people's responses I am guessing they dont sell them anymore..

Is there any advantage than these days to getting say the sort that you have Simon over the upgraded ones they sell. They must be better these days I'm guessing.. I just liked the Timken ones :(

:? mine is a 3W5/8 same as the original one.... not the piece of poo 7W5/8 that the mini shops sell

what's the upgraded one?
