Hi all,

Just bought a 61 850 rolling shell for $400 (great deal)
Just needs a Motor and interior, two doors and a boot lid(bloody rust)
Bit of rust here and there, the worst is the boot seam.
About to go into the garage and start welding and bogging

The plan with this is to put the 998cc from my clubman in it
and drive it as a daily.
Few repairs and a lick of paint and she'll look sweet......

hahaha yeah I know first thing I did was tear that sticker off.

Had a look at the engine num and type num and it seems its just a 850 std ed.
punched a heap of holes in it today with the screwdriver where all the rust is
there's not to much............
gotta make a hole for the remote change box and thinking bout deseaming it cause the seams arent in great shape.....
the floors and boot were 1/2 inch thick in dust and mud so I was suprised they weren't rusted through.

Will keep posting photos
