Post subject: | Don Holland to sell his Works Mini |
While dropping of a Carb at Midel today who pulls up "Don Holland the Legend" he was a little amazed I'm putting a HIF44 carb onto a 1100. But we got chatting about a few things which led us to him racing at Eastern Creek on the weekend. He then announced he was going to sell his Works Mini. I would think this would be a good time to do it also with the recent sale of a number of other Special cars of our History. He told me I was 1 of the first to know and I then asked if he would like to tell Ausmini also "Yep Sure" so I think we have an exclusive. Anyway he did not give a price but he has given me his mobile Number if any really people are truly Interested in it. Price we did discuss but lets just say it will be up their with the best of them. Its amazing who you bump into at times. ![]() |

That looks like Don Holland's car. Dunno if there is any connection between Don and Bob. Also dunno about any "works" history but apparently it is the original Nc car that was raced back in the day and is homologated to run the 12" rims. |

Jim. I think you've got your Mini racing legends mixed up. It's Don Holland who is selling his car. ![]() My husband bought a few of his go fast Mini bits last week. The car is in fact his original works Mini lovingly restored. ![]() ![]() |

Anyone know the history of the car? It looks like a bit of a bitsa (grill, badge position etc...), albeit great ownership pedigree though! What makes it a 'works' car? |
