Hi all.

When adjusting my front hi-los recently to get the corect height I noticed that after they were done it didn't retun to the adjusted height after I bounced the car.

I checked (again) that the cones were seated and that the knuckles were in properly and they were.

Is it just the case that I need to take the car for a run? It wont be out and about for a few weeks.

Has anyone got some ideas?

Hi 1275LS,

i usually go for a 5-10 minute drive after any ajustments to help it settle. Sometimes just letting it sit on the floor after adjustments isnt enough to let it settle in a short amount of time.

i have at times had to make 3 or 4 adjustments, each with a 5-10 minute drive between them to get the ride height right. it can be a pain but it is worth it to get it right.

i am finding with the coil springs i now have fitted tend to settle much faster than the rubber cones i had previously.

I adjusted my ride height today in fact, i dropped it an inch all round.

even though i made the exact same adjustment at each hilow, the car was not level after a test drive.

i had to make individual adjustments to each hi low and test drive each time. its a pain but the end result is worth it.

good luck
