What would be the best way to remove the many small dints in the grill? Is it difficult to do (properly)? Thanks in advance....... |

Get a couple of grilles, take the rivets out, mix and match the slats until you have a full set of good ones, then rivet it back together. |

I agree with DrMini. BUT.. if you want to bang out some of the dents then start to look at how to use a slap stick aka slap file (it has many names). Remove the rivets first (obviously) and then you can attack each of the slats. It does take some time. I started repairing mine but I think it best just to find some old ones and piece all of the good bits together. Here's a PDF that you might find useful: http://www.tachrev.com/JeffLilly/dent_repair.pdf |

I took mine to an old school electro plater and he fixed mine (when a 4wd backed into me) for $20- for 2 dented slats. I took the 2 damaged slats off first, came back good as new. |
