Hi there,

Been very quiet at my end lately due to my Back Pain getting the better of me of late. Pretty much since the Oz50 at Wakefield I've been laid up and unable to do a great deal.

Luckily my 12-36 Month waiting list for Surgery became 6 months and I have now had my Anterior Inra-body Lumbar Fusion and the change is bloody unbelievable!! After several years of pain shooting down my leg, and feeling like its shooting out of my heal  (not good when trying to get to sleep) I now have none of this at all :D Today is day 17 Post Surgery and I'm back at work on Tuesday.

So..... hopefully I'll be back into the Mini as soon as possible. I haven't bothered even looking at it of late as having a 20 minute time frame before the pain is too much was just too off-putting.

First step is to make a Rotisserie (or borrow one if anybody has one they'd like to lend me??). Does any one have plans for this, or do I just make one from scratch that fits? Any assistance much appreciated....

Cheers,

Dicko.

Welcome back Dicko , i was wondering why you haven't been around for a while.

Hopefully you are back on track healthwise , good to hear .

I have a mate up this way that has a rotisserie and he has finished using it at this stage,
i can check for you if he would lend it, thats unless you can source one closer to you.

That would be great. I have a friend that comes up that way often so picking it up wouldn't be a problem....

Cheers,

Dicko

My father slipped a disc in his back, and while he was on the mend, he hated driving with me in the mini!

I've still got the original rubber cones (pancakes) so the ride is pretty harsh - what suspension are you looking at using?

Thanks for the well wishes.

From what I hear the Surgery is so much better now. Was up and walking the next day, out of hospital on Day4, will be back at work on day 19....

The difference in your whole being without the constant pain is just incredible. Though I'm not going to get stuck in too deep until my week 6 X-Rays.... Just in Case.

Now where's my Mini?

Cheers,

Dicko
