i found this on ebay a while ago and got it

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWAX:IT

I thought it was the correct glass for a mini sunshine as he messaged me telling me it was off a Leyland 1275ls and that it was factory fitted (late 1275LS's had it as an option)

i got it today and it is just a pop up one that looks aftermarket

Sunshine's had an Autosun vacuum sealed sunroof.

That's an LS sunroof.

They were also fitted to Datsuns, Cortinas, etc.

It is an after market sunroof. There was no special SS or LS sunroof.

They weren't part of the SS package so there's really no point in getting it unless you actually want a sunroof. Sunroofs were pretty popular in the late seventies and early eighties so it wouldn't look out of place, but it isn't necessary for originality.

I think he has a sunshine, so he needs a sunroof.

Can you get some glass cut for it? I assume you have the other pieces?
