Hi all,
Just picked up a shell and a heap of parts amongst which was a block which appears to have an engine number of 1013/1263 (it's pretty hard to read and the parts have now been temporarily put in storage elsewhwere so I am just working off photo's) Other markings on the block are"045" and "12A497"(cast onto side) and the crank appears to be stamped with "12G82". Any ideas what this would have been out of?
Thanks!

Could the engine number be 1015?
I think it is an 1100 motor out of a Leyland Mini or Mini S or Moke or Mini Van from early 75.

Could be, will have to zoom in on the photo's a bit more carefully. Thanks very much Morris. From looking at the info in my black book I thought it might be an 1100, could be the basis for the new donk for the van!!! :D
