I'm pretty sure the door locks go in first / come out last. |

Yep I did all the locks and mechanisms before moving onto the window parts. It's very hard to do the other way as the glass can get in the way of fitting the handle. |

A little hint I will give you,, assemble the inner parts to the door while it is not yet attached to the car... assemble it on a bed and or bed sheet. Then have helpers left/hold/ position the complete door in place to attach to the body. Some will argue with me here to do it the other way around, and put the door on first as it's lighter without the stuff inside etc.. HOWEVER from personal experience I have found that too much fiddling around of putting gear into the door, and the chrome surrounds and plates you can damage the hinges on the car from forcing up and down putting these things on.. my 2 cents anyway.. |
