Did you remove the washer thing on the end? I didnt once and the flywheel puller bent i was trying so hard, then i realised. Felt pretty stupid then ![]() Other than that it is possible it may have welded itself on there, lets hope-not |

heat it, tap it through the starter hole leave it for a day and do the above over a few days. there is a few other hints on how to do it if you search |

Was it a hydraulic puller you had? (or am i thinking of someone else's thread) Because if it is a hydraulic puller then your not using it properly ![]() But if it's not just load it up and give the end of the puller a whack. Failing that maybe use some heat. |

Just get as much pressure as possible on it, heat it if you can and then swear at it for a while. If it doesn't pop off try again in the morning. If you are going to try and hit it off through the starter hole be careful not to smash the alloy housing, try not to damage the ring gear and try not to bend the flywheel. |

Make sure you stand and eye it off while drinking a beer, get a friend over to help with this. Other than that every one else has said every thing I could suggest. |

![]() I couldn't find the bolts for that one , so i got a regular type one. The bolts for it are too long to fit on the hydraulic one, so i'll just have to keep trying. ![]() ![]() Thanks for all the other tips guys... i'll give them a go. ![]() |

Grease the main bolt first. Tighten as tight as you can get it then usually a tap through the starter hole gets it. if not turn it over 180 deg. Don't Bash it though. I would only suggest heat as a last resort. |

0407 13 5656 same here if needed, but Matt is probably much closer for you ![]() I use a ratchet gun and it gets it off every time without fail (puller courtesy of sitnlo62) ![]() I've had a few hard ones over the years, I just load them up and undo them, and load them up and tap here and there and finally they pop.. just took 3 off today (see my conversions build thread for photo's) |
