Can anybody identify what vehicle a Lucas 29D AYB 0370 distributor is from? It has 4 lobes and does not have a vacuum advance ,stamped 6294 1129 8 71. |

My guess is a Mk2 Cooper S or with a date that late a Clubman GT. |

Spot on Morris! Even though the BMC and Lucas parts books don't mention it John has it in his catalogue as an Australian MK II Cooper S (B62941129-R). A search on here of the part number 62941129 doesn't attract any hits, which is a bit weird. |
