Goose or otherwise - seller would have been happy. Only worth what someone will pay for it...

    I wish.. the stupid lady screwed me around a bit, but I did get my money in the end in bits and pieces :(

paypal slugged me quite a bit on this one, and so did ebay of course :( plus I under estimated on postage as to where it went.

In the end I used this money with some other stuff I sold to pay the eBay fee's from the heap of stuff I sold the last week or so.. total was just over $300 in fee's :( so wasan't too pleased to see all the $$ go to rip off merchant :( but anyway..

It was outback QLD of all places wasn't it :(

But it's a good one isan't it   Who pays that much for a grill?? Like honestly I never have or will... A few of us on here knew about it and were watching it getting to the $100 mark, and couldn't believe our eyes... then I came back to see the total, lol!

I had the grill on here for $25 which is what I started it at on ebay, and no one took it, and then look at it on ebay, lol...

I guess it comes down to what people need at the time on eBay.

two lessons for you

1. put a bodgey email address in for your paypal account, that way when people try to pay it just gives them an error. Then you can tell the buyer to pay via direct deposit

2. never quote on postage unless it's a small item and you know exactly how much to everywhere
