The black-backgrounds and chrome upper and lower bars is how the clubman GT is. Possible also the 1275LS.

not exactly sure about clubman S. I think its all chrome (all horizontal bars) with black background

Should I throw another option into the mix.....?

What years got the Red Mini Grille Badge and which got the Blue one? Ive had one of each being 76 and 78 models but can't remember which was which.

Cheers

Dicko

I am pretty sure that the grill on your car is from a standard Mini, a 1275 LS grill should be the same as a Clubman GT and Mini S except for the LS badging which did not include the 1275 badge.

i think you`ll find that the std issue plain old "Leyland Mini" got the blue

& the "Leyland mini S" got the red

it`s just from my very aging memory tho

I don't think it really is standard. It is painted wrong and it has a 1275 badge added that no other 1275LS came with.

They're not the same. The blue one just has the border chromed. The turquoise one has the first bar in from the border top & bottom chromed as well, like the GT.

The plot thickens. :?
