i'm going to have to get a shell from my shed to the street in a few months... it won't have any wheels so i'll have to build a dolly frame for it. any suggestions for cheap wheels to put on the dolly? |

Why not just get 3 other blokes and everyone take a corner? |

Any old castors would do the trick Bunnings do a $25 castor, which I think is rated at 100kg or so.. Or, ask around, i'm sure someone in adelaide has a spare dolly from a resto gone by? I've pushed my moke shell around on an engine trolley I made, which was about 15"x15" with 4 of the above castors on it |

+1. I helped someone do this once a few years back. Free beers tasted great afterwards ![]() Or failing that, a pile of wooden logs and a small army of Egyptian slaves, Pharaoh! |

I've always sat shells on an old rear subframe and taken them out the front like a big wheelbarrow. The shell is not very heavy. I'm certainly not a weightlifter type. ![]() |

I have an engine trolley made from the base of a shopping trolley. There's a large shopping centre near my home so they are very cheap and readily available... from the local tip shop, of course. Make sure you get one with decent castors though. Tim |

I was waiting for someone to suggest the shopping trolley. Unfortunately SWMBO would go off hers (trolley) if she caught me trying to sneak one in and cut it up! I’ll save my sneakiness and hiding abilities for things worth hiding |
