hi fella's some of you wont remember the crap on ausmini mk1 we had a over zealous mod .... mick no offence but you are heading the same way if a post is putting crap on a company fair enuff but when people say stuff like manoro said we should be aloud to say what we feel as it is a public forum but the way i see it and the way you are going with it we will be overly sensored .... i enjoy this forum as we have freedom to speak our minds well we did but now say something you find offensive and blammo it's gorn i for one cannot believe that the post has just totally been striped. the thred all the posts that others had made gone .....
now when this happend origanaly a lot of people left and if you start doing that it will happen again let a post run it's course if it starts putting crap on companys fair enought but let it go

jim willy is correct i'm just digging up some old dirt as we have a new mod who is going over top with there editing he was asked to leave a responce to a topic and compleatly removed it so untill he backs off and alows the comunity to return to it's old way of flowing conversation i will continue to kick up a stink

cause i jump around many other different forums to do with many things.
And i think it is a good thing, the mods here dont/didn't care , you know what i mean really - what is said here cause it is discussed in a respectable although strong way.

And it really shits me on so many forums that mods care so much do delete so 'stuff' that everyone else seems to be 'fine' to discuss, and if it goes on here further
well it will be quite rubbish wont it :evil:

min13k...I really don't take kindly to being called a Nazi....I assume you are refering to my attempts to calm people down and try and get them to stop sniping at one another and get on with the business of this forum...Minis....if you feel so strongly about free speech issues and such go and join Greenpeace.

Over 950 people signed up....and over 90000 posts....why are a few so vocal :?:

and NO, it is not only about defaming companies.....law suites can be raised by individuals who have been offended or see something offensive.

There are only a very small amount of threads that have been deleted on Ausmini AFAIK....I personally have maybe modified around 20-30 posts due to innappropriate content, the increasing amount of baiting going on and the uncessary use of foul language (and its usually because of the context or the way it is said :!: ).

I don't need this aggravation....I can get plenty of it elsewhwere :!: :D

...but I want to see this forum continue to be the terrific source of Mini info it has grown to be.

If Poeee dosn't like what I am doing...I am sure he will say so....until that happens...I will continue to try and stop fights in the schoolyard and try and keep the forum as a place that the majority of people would want to visit (everyone, including the young middle and older).

Hope this explains my position...I don't expect or feel the need to justify it at all..... :D

ahuh ok mick thats nice but as a person who has been on this forum for along time and loves this forum and will continue to use it. i find it funny that tpost that started the problem was left well alone and only the ones after the "baiting" was moded and it seams to be going on alot mick the forum was going along fine with out to much moderation then all of a sudden you get the status and get hell bent on cleaning up the forum get over it alet life take its course

9Y.... i personally have no problem with the way things are going, or the way things are moderated, because the fact remains that every person interprets posts, writing styles and speech differently.............

But i really don't agree with Makka dusting the cobwebs off old posts to start fires, it's not smart and doesn't help member relations, so Makka as i've said in another topic.......... please ease up for your and everyone else's sake :cry:

well it probley would not have degenerated as much if you had of let it run its course ...... see for ever one thing that happens there are variables ok i leave it alone and it go's on for a day or two .... or i deleat whole posts and then watch the crap hit the fan simple huh as i said lighten up fair enuff if it is degenerating into a full on swear marithon go for it but we where being rather truthful and i'm sure the other indervidual who opend there mouth and sprouted there vile apon the person with a very historical peice (who also happens to be loverly person ) and there post is left welll alone how would you like me to react.... i'm not the type of person who lays down no i stand and say what i beleive
