i would like a how to on getting the top arms back into the car. mine are really tight into the subframe. is there a trick?

Are both of yours really tight? One of mine (left side) is tight and the other one is loose.

The best method I've seen so far involves pushing the front rubber dust seal back so it's actually sitting over the body of the upper arm rather than over the bearing area. That stops it sticking out the front and also eliminates the risk of damage while you're getting the arm into place. Once the arm is bolted in place, slide the dust seal back over the bearing area (which should be fully exposed once the bolts are tightened).

Sorry for not replying sooner. this is the thread I was thinking of, showing how the rubber dust seal is placed to get the arm in.

The skinny washer goes at the back end; the thick one goes at the front.
