Which is a good socket to have if you own a mini as it also fits disc brake hub nuts, steering wheel retainer nut, and varoius engine ones you'll probably never need.

Check your hub nut size, before buying a 1-5/16" socket.
Recent ones are made from 34mm hex bar. If this includes yours I'd buy a 34mm socket instead. It will still fit your steering wheel, crank pulley bolt and camshaft nut.

You can get the right sockets in real tool shops, or truck stores.

Beanie is talking about the conical `security nut' on the top column bolt, not the steering wheel nut.
I cut a flat on it first to give a grip.
I didn't bother fitting another funny nut, I used a real one.
