Went out today and had a look round.....
Saw one mini engine out there :( and it looked pretty average.
Disappointed there wasn't much in the way of mini's out there at all
Oh well I suppose if it was the Great Britain swap meet there'd be more about :)

i didn't see the motor

saw a few 10 inch rims, one set of clubby rims (S) i think with Dunlop semi race rubber,

a few SU's around, one lonely Contessa,

but yes on the whole was a bit lacking..

there were plenty of hillbillies and rednecks though!

i guess events like this were how we sourced parts before ebay, gumtree and the widespread use of the intermenet....

all those years of skipping any uni lectures on a thursday, bacon, eggs and iced coffee at a mates place scouring the trader..

then progressing into happy hour thursday nights and usually skipping any lectures on a friday too... see a trend here?
