We need a registry of who's paid the money for WinSU, so we can bombard them with requests all day.

Send them your saved configuration, get them to send through the results with the question marks removed.
Thanks for the reminder, Tobermary, I forgot about WinSU... I know that nothing's going to be exactly right from guesswork (not as good as my local dyno would get me), but at least it's indicative of which direction they're likely to go. And, even better, I was able to figure out what the needles were, in spite of the question marks.

It recommended two needles with exactly the same profile (same amount rich at both middle and high revs), and three characters in the needle name. A little bit of searching with Simon's SU Needle Thingy, and I had it.

Needle turned out to be significantly leaner than what I'm running.
An interesting coincidence with the seller of WinSU? He occasionally sells the license on eBay. And he also sells needles - in fact, I bought
my needles from him. I paid less for 2 needles posted from the UK than I would've paid in postage alone locally. When the postage for something that can fit comfortably in an envelope with a 60c stamp is $15, it's hard not to look for other options.
And for anyone else looking at WinSU, it's really Win32SU. It no likey 64bit OS's. I had to install it in XP Mode on my Win 7 64 machine.
