Dear miniforum

Can you put morris mini seats into a 76 clubman- are they interchangable?

Thanks for any advice

Physically they should fit, as it was the very late clubbies with the seats that mounted to the top of the crossmember instead of the front like every other mini.

Only small hitch if its worth anything to you: replacement seats in a 76 car should have headrests.

Thanks Harley

Looks like the Clubbie seats I have are from a Morris and the morris seats I can get are from a Clubbie- Got to love these hybrid beauties

Not wanting to open a can of works but if we are talking putting low backs into a later car then you will technically run afoul of ADRs.

No worries Kirby

Its more about taking the low backs out of the late model clubbie and putting back in the originals- The only thing is that the semi original set I can get my hands on have a morris back seat upholstered in the same material as the front ones- I was more concerned if this one would fit.

Thanks for your comments though
