I had to work. My old man was going to go in his mini but had something else on so went in the arvo for a look. He got there at about 2 and there were no cars there. Im am going to look at the other thread to see what happened. http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic ... 190#831190 |

Hi everyone I made it to the High St Armadale display. There were a total of four Minis. Although the organisers hoped to get over 100 cars, there were only about 25. An old Rolls, two or three Austin-Healey 3000s, four or so Sunbeam convertibles, a Ferrari, an enormous Caddy, an E type, a beautiful late 60s Jag, a Daimler, an unusual Vauxhall, a very unusual orange roadster with a Camry enging, three or four Mustangs, and an FJ I think. No MGs. Naturally, the Minis attracted all the attention from passers-by, much to the chagrin of the Ferrari owner in particular. There was a sprinking of rain, but apart from that, the weather wasn't too bad. It was a nice day, but would have been much better if there had been lots more cars. Tony |
