Hey guys, I am looking at getting some new tyres for my mini, I am currently using Falken 165/60/12 on minilites and i would like something similar. Does anyone know a cheap place in Sydney that will fit and balance them for cheap?

I have been to tyre power and they quoted $150 each for the falken's and Bob's have quoted $165 each. I find that a bit expensive.

Yokohama A539's are no longer bought into OZ by Yokohama Australia. However you can buy them & have the shipped from most Mini places in the UK, i got 6 A539's from Huddersfield Mini spares delivered to my door step for $103 per tyre in May.

@monster.

Do you have a 2nd one by any chance? I found out i only really need 2 as the back ones are ok.

@drjbeam.

St Marys is a little bit out of the way for me :/ I had to google it as i did not know where it was.

I went down to tempe tyres today and they quoted $100 each for falkens and they will take a day to order in. Hopefully i can get it done on Wednesday and go on the SWOTM runn.

Nope they are too big. Mini Mad (Josh) had 4x 165/70-12 A008s on his Clubby once, we had to trim the rear trailing arm brackets to clear, and it was so high it handled like crap. They are much bigger in diameter than a 60 series. :cry: Forget em I say.

quote from today by Huddersfield is 300 quid for 4 tyres delivered to Aus.

about $460 aussie. not too bad i think, best i can find in oz is over 600.

either way i still gotta get over to doogie's to use his tyre machine :)
