Let me guess, you bought the blue LS with the red interior that was on Trinity drive.
Cheers Pete

[edit]

I'd like to find out the origin of the 12H87UH. Anyone else want to hazard a guess?

is it really 12H87UH, or 12H897UH? (should be 3 numbers in there not 2....)

One of my books lists the 12H897UH as a 1275LS, along with the usual 12H902UH.

Dunno if it's right, Morris 1100 will be along soon (maybe) to set us straight.. 8)

Yes it is missing the 9. We mused previously that the guy stamping the block was a bit haphazard and missed a number. A bit annoying as it makes the car incorrect for the 12H902 folklore.

Mind you it is an early 1275LS so who knows. What was the number of the first one they did the trial engine fitting with? Maybe this was it.
