Any ideas of what a Nota Fang kit car with Cooper S running gear might be worth? The car has been fully restored and can be registered for road use. It is about 70's vintage. Thanks for any info.

Thanks for the reply. I am thinking of buying the car. It belongs to a bloke down on the South Coast of NSW. Like I said the car is fully restored and comes with 12 months reg. Motor reconditioned running a 45mm Webber, some sort of lumpy cam, roller rockers, electronic ignition and other bits and pieces. He recently had it dyno tuned and I have seen the papers to show that engine is putting out 120 bhp. He is talking about 17 to 18 grand. From what you paid about 8 years ago, I think it might be the right price. My late wife would kill me if she was still around as I recently paid 20 grand for a fully restored, genuine Mk2 Cooper S before she passed away. What the heck, hey? Can't take the money with you! Do you reckon it is worth it? Thanks

If it is indeed the black one everyone saw at Zetland, than I think Yes.

It's definitely worth the $17K.
100%.

This car is yellow and has not seen the light of day for a few years while the restoration was taking place

Seen a couple advertised over the last year - asking from 16-20K fully restored, registered.

Hope this helps.

First thing my daughter said to me when I bought it was whether she could have when I died!!! Aren't kids wonderful? I am afraid she already has her name on it.
