Well, I missed today, so I want to know what treasures everyone else got.

What kind of cool NOS did you guys grab today?
Or other fancy crap?

I was sorely tempted to get another 1275 seeing there was so many to chose from.
I even found a Cooper S block there that nobody knew about!

An exhaust system and a tappet cover with an oil separator.
I wish I could have got more, but I didn't bring a trailer.

It depends on what you want really.... Its a lot of money for not a lot of storage.... But if you like to take your cars to shows for concorse stuff..... which I doubt Matt does! Better to have $$$ than something sitting on a shelf!

AHhhhh,,,, just sick of looking at the damn things,,, i`m not gonna have em in my Marcos or my Monaco,,, so why bother,,, they`re just gonna sit here gathering more dust

someone else will surely appreciate them & use them for their intended purpose (period sweet early mini) more than me

they somehow don`t seem to ring with the same ambiance in a fire breathing fastback twin cam fuel injected 16v turbo charged 200hp rocket ship

& there isn`t a back seat in the Marcos to sit them under :-)

& My "S" just isn`t that type of car

the only car i have that would suit is the woody wagon & that won`t be anywhere near restored for another 20 years

so,,, somebody give me some money for them & then you can be the envy of all the other concourse period lovely clean tidy minis that i enjoy seeing people enjoy so much

sorry,,, this thread isn`t about my fish baskets,,, err "picnic baskets" ,,, it`s for muster,,,er,,, mini king bargains

:-)

hey John,,, hope you`re gettting better mate,,, i`ll bell you in the next few days
