About to buy a new laminated one. Is the one with the tinted band at the top a problem for tall drivers? I've only got two to pick from, the top tint or a all over green tint. What are your thoughts?

All over green tint? Never heard of it.
Go the top tint one unless your head almost touches the roof then you might have a problem.

Sounds like an LS rear if its tinted all over. Tinted front screens are illegal in Australia. Of course the top section is OK though (up to a certain % down the screen).

I'm not tall and I would never get the top tint one- it comes way too far down, and is too dark. I'd have to crouch to look under it at night.
Find a clear one (ex Rover?) somewhere, or pick the other, if tint is light.

If it's any help we carry new laminated front screens in stock without the band at the top, & have sold plenty of them too.Especially since the current screens have been made too big.

Thanks for the info. The green tinted one is deffinitely the front and as they explained it, it was closer to clear than green. Also thought it may have been an older stock item Aust made and wouldn't have the fitting problem.

Andrew, I'll give you a call also after some GT Stripes
