 Post subject: tyres rubbing

i have mini mags rims i just put tyres on and it is rubbing on inside and the thread is little too short and not sure what to do. if you have any ideas to help that would be great

First off. What size wheels are you running? What size tires are you running? and what brakes are you running?

That will help to dignose the problem :D

^^(nailed it). also, rubbing on the front or the rear. if rear u'lll need stepped drums.

A pic of the wheel/tyre combination (with a good view of the hole in the middle) will help diagnose.

My first mini had a rear tyre rubbing on the right shocker problem, made a horrible noise around left corners, it turned out to be badly worn trailing arm bushes.

what flares?

what hubs? (my metro hubs crank the positive camber not helping rubbing issues - still have to fit the adjustable suspension to counter act it)
