Wouldnt you kinda notice a Moke missing, and ring the owner, and then call the cops?? Sounds like he doesnt really care. :(

I reckon he has probably removed it from his own front yard and is taking the buyer for a ride, and scammed him the money.

It's a long and complicated story but Alpine Moke posted about it a while ago on the moke forum, http://www.mokesinc.org/index.php/topic,7874.0.html,
he's good friends with the guy in England (Leo Mack), as far as I know Alpine was to
pick up the moke and send it to Leo in the UK but the 'seller' lost it
so now Leo is trying to find it by advertising on ebay. he did the same thing a couple of
years ago when his nice red moke which lives in Australia was stolen.

Poor bugger must think we're all theives, hang on, isn't that why the poms sent us here in the first place

Not sure that is the same Moke, Minidna. Leo buys the odd Moke every now and again and shipd them back to the UK. They are restored for people in the UK to enjoy for their three weeks of warm weather each year. :)

Leo's an honest guy and well respected in Moke circles.

No disrespect to anyone, all I am saying is
Pictured Moke in question looks like advertised by applyberry2 for AU $2,500.00 (and no record of payment from coopercars_1999)
but coopercars_1999 bought Moke from jaykayhay64 for AU $1,030.00 (there is a record of that transaction)
Who knows what happened but between ebay and paypal he should be compensated.

I hope he finds his Moke.
