Hi guys, I have a small issue, the brakes seem a tad slow.. ie press the pedal takes a moment to kick in. and then they stay on for a moment.

New Master cylinder
New brake Booster
Running mini sport 4 pot calipers
new brake hoses....
Any ideas? the Brakes havent been used in 12 months so I am hoping it could be a bit sticky, and will free up with use.

Immediate thoughtsa for problems:

1. pistons sticking on the seals, remove and lubricate.
2. One way valve in air line to booster suspect.
3. Minisport caliper.

Check the rear brakes too, my rover used to have 'sticky' brakes sometimes when the handbrake was released.

Booster may need an overhaul, sounds like the air valve may be sticking...

I'm no expert but just a thought, are the hoses the correct diameter and length? Of they are too narrow this may cause a restriction to fluid flow. Check them against the old ones.
