Post subject:  STOLEN MINI K
Not mine but a guy asked me to post from another forum.

If anyone in Victoria has a seen a 1968 Morris Mini K that was stolen this morning around 6am from Prahran.
Was last seen on Citylink heading out and over the Bolte Bridge, and then towards Bell St where it has disappeared.

It has been completely restored, and is painted in a Dark Green with a white roof and white stripes down the sides of the bonnet.

Rego plates are <number removed now it is found> (Club Permit Plates NOT PICTURED)

Contact Dan 'Nudge' Miles if you have seen it at all since 6am this morning.

It looks like the car has been found , the owner Dan has had a verbal confirmation that it his car , just waiting now for the final confirmation

Thats allright Mr Scott , did you ring Dan ?

When I rang him to give him the heads up I said that you had seen a Mini K but you did not give a description

When I saw what you had posted I put 2 & 2 together re Dans stolen Mini K , the fact that it had different plates on it did,nt change the fact that there was a very strong chance that it was the stolen car in question

Just waiting to hear final confirmation

The other thread was removed for a very good reason !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will update any details once I hear back from Dan , again I hope the car isn,t damaged

The damage known so far is a broken window which of course means the interior is water damaged and very dirty, the fuel cap has been broken off , the steering wheel is damaged , it seems the car is straight with no panel damage , it would seems as though it has been thrashed so mechanically it may not be OK

The main point is that it is in one piece and has not been torched , it was recovered not that far from where it was stolen , Dan said his Dad should have it back tonight
