mine looks pretty manky.

can they be done? i see there is a small spring in there should i remove it?

might be cheaper to buy new?

I would use chrome paint...
They don't come apart, which is really necessary if you are going to electroplate it.. :cry:

i did use chrome paint they just look manky after a while.

the chrome paint never seems to set hard, maybe ill look into some 2pac chrome paint & cook it in the oven.

You could just get them zinc'd, looks nice and you won't have to pull them apart.

Chrome powdercoating comes up ok except needs to get to 200+ degrees. Recon they could handle it? Pm me if your interested or have a spare and Ill see if my mate will do it. He's cheap as, more doing it as a hobby/ to see how to powdercoat! So like I said wouldent be perfect but I was impressed!

i ended up doing these in a 2pac metalic paint.

they look good & i cooked them in the oven for 20mins..

come out rock hard & shiny.
