I have a 1100 clubman which has a 24 litre fuel tank, i fill up a full tank once every week but it depends on how much and how hard you drive it. Check the wires going to fuel tank and make sure they are all connected and cleaned properly and if they are then you might be looking at a new guage or you might have to check the float in the tank.

Not sure my odometer stopped working

but 998 and 1 tank usually takes twenty litres when empty.
for that I get about 200 - 220 ish maybe?

When the fuel guage stopped working and I drove it to Canberra I worked on filling it up at least every 200 kms

I might also add the little green girl did Armidale to Canberra (that's 800kms) with only one stop and whilst the temperature sometimes climbed it was OK as long as I wasn't stopped and idling too long. (Is there a smilely for proud parent type thing)

I was very proud of her it was a very good effort and then she did the return trip with my parents and there was no problems that way either. (Another proud parent smilely)

I got an estimated 100ks from my last fill up, to when my car stopped.

When you people fill up, where do you stop? When you can see the fuel or when it cuts out or what?

Or 4.7 litres per 100 kms for us people who don't understand MPG.

21.164021 or thereabouts using US gallons the one I worked out previously was using UK gallons (I figured that's where the 850 was made originally so that is probably the quoted figure :?: )

If it is 20km / litre that is even more impressive
