Can any one tell me what year this engine is to the nearest date please 8am/u/h 337199... my reconing is around late sixty two maybe. Trying to get a specific date line for it ...If anyone can help, or somewhere i can find out without paying money to find out i would be much obliged

Probably more likely mid-63 but hard to say without access to an 850 register list (do a search, theres one on here), think they went to 8Y motors late 63/early 64.

I am thinking mid to late 62. I have no proof, it is just the vibe.
I guess it would have come from a car number near 15000.

Engine 8AM/U/H 31425* was fitted to car number 1288*
Engine 8AM/U/H 34342* was fitted to car number 1738*
