Post subject:  Rusted seam covers

Im under the impression that attempting to pull the seam covers off in good condition is the way to go, I've already ruined my front left but noticed it was full of rust inside anyway.
Im sure the others will be the same inside so how so how do you remove the rust inside these things?
Im at the moment trying to cut the brazing out at the top with a dremel disc, is there a better way to do this?
And how hard are the new covers to fit?

Cheers.

I just get the oxy and heat the bronze up until it melts, it's much quicker and less damaging than a Dremel.

I used a dremel, because i didnt have an oxy. Didnt seem to damage it. Once cut get a large flat-nose screwdriver and lever them off then wirebrush, derust solution and then paint and then put back on
