Only have $500 in the kitty and I have deal that is about to expire - Do I get a set of A008s or a set of Contesta/Minilite style alloy wheels? Can only get one or other - not both due to rationing by the Ministry of Finance ![]() |

Import from the uk, for not much extra you can get new minilites and new a008s. Use the words bargain, 2 for 1, just had to have them, discount and you should be fine. |

Google tells me they are a competition tyre- quick wearing - 3-5000 Kms Anyone had experience with them - how do A008s go for wear? |

Im using A032Rs on mine now. They really are an amazing tyre, however probably wouldnt recommend one for a daily driver. I use my mini only a couple of times a week and after spirited driving you can definately feel the warmth in the tyres due to their wear. However if they last me a year then in my opinion its worth it. |

A008s are the best compromise between wet/dry grip and longevity. The A032Rs will grip harder, but wear much faster. My A008s have been on the car for 2 years or so now, and they've probably got 60-70% tread remaining. |

My A008s have been on the car for 2 years or so now, and they've probably got 60-70% tread remaining. I agree with ^^^ A032Rs grip better but last nowhere near as long as a road tyre. (But they might stop my wheelspin probs in 1st gear when it hits 4.5K RPM ![]() |
