Chrome (top) rings are better for a road motor- it is well known that they last longer.
But plain iron rings bed in quicker.
I hedged my bets- the 1360 has the Hastings chrome rings and the 1412 stroker has Nippon plain iron ones.

Yes. But they are both only standard rings, not the real fancy moly filled yada yada you can get with V8 pistons. |

Will they still handle a 1360 BMW twincam with 11:1 comp ratio, driven very hard on a daily basis
